The Fallen Brave
|
To honor those who have fallen...to stand with those who remain. This is the goal of the Fallen Brave project. Through a simple ministry of presence AFM provides chaplain pastoral care to military families in times of overwhelming loss.

"In these difficult moments when we struggle to
find meaning in it all, may we yet find that in it all, the moment is sacred." Chaplain Kenneth Koon |
AFM's Fallen Brave project is made possible through the Stand with Them Campaign which underwrites the work of Armed Forces Mission in serving the needs of America's troops and veterans and their families.
The Fallen Brave project nurtures the living and cares for the broken hearted while honoring the memory of those who have fallen in service to our nation. Through the Fallen Brave Project it is our goal that families of America's fallen brave will never stand alone. As a liaison from the communities of the Southern Crescent we provide a conduit for our citizens to express to the families of America's fallen brave our sincere love, prayers and support during a time of great personal loss and sacrifice. |
The vision for The Fallen Brave Project began with the passing of PFC Johnathon Davis of Griffin on March 29, 2012 and became a reality on August 31, 2013 with the passing of SSGT Joshua Bowden of Villa Rica. In their memory and with the support of the community we will continue this work to stand with those who remain in honor of those who have stood and fallen on the field of battle.
"We are so thankful for Armed Forces Mission Ken didn't know us before our son, Johnathon was killed in Afghanistan, but he has reached out to us and checks in on us to see how we are doing. We believe in AFM's mission to restore hope and strengthen soldiers and family." Kerry and Tracy Davis Your support of the Fallen Brave Project allows AFM to provide a much needed ministry of presence for the families of America's fallen brave. |
